| The Missouri Cooperative Extension offers a chart showing amounts to plant for both fresh eating and processing. http://muextension.missouri.ed... Do keep in mind though that this would only be a suggestion and that actual amounts will depend on your family's preferences, likes and dislikes as well as appetite so experience will be your best guide. If you are new to vegetable gardening, especially, I would suggest you begin with a partial or conservative estimate and then expand from year to year. I hope this helps you with your planning. |
