The Q&A Archives: Frost Date - New York City

Question: I'm sorry to bother you through e-mail, but I can't seem to get the "search library" function to work on my computer. When is the last frost date in New York City?

Answer: April first and November 11 would be about average, but keep in mind that every year can vary -- sometimes considerably -- to the early or the late end. You microclimate will also have an effect on the date for your own garden.
