I am going to start blue fescue indoors. How many seeds are planted in each pot in order to achieve the results that are shown in most photos?

Blue fescue grass is a "clump" grass, so what you see in the photos is actually just one plant. If you want to propagate some plants for spring, plant several seeds in each pot, but after they germinate, thin to the strongest plant in each pot.
Seeds can also be directly sown outdoors in early spring rightwhere you wish them to grow. Be patient, it takes about 4 weeks for seeds to germinate.
Good luck!
