Does the age of seeds effect it's germination?

Seeds will remain viable for several years if they're properly stored. Heat, moisture and sunlight are big enemies of seeds. If you keep your seeds in an airtight container and store them in a cool, dark location, such as a closet floor, they'll remain viable for 3-4 years. After that time period, expect some, but not all of your seeds to sprout. Hope this answers your question!
