I have never heard of feeding milk to pumpkins! The best ways I know of to grow huge pumpkins are to start with a large variety (such as Atlantic Giant for the really big ones), prepare the soil very well so that it is good and rich and deeply dug, then make sure the pumpkin is well watered during the summer. Using a mulch can help, too. Finally, limit the number of pumpkins allowed to develop on one vine. This forces the plant to direct more of its energy into the remaining pumpkins. Good luck!
