Can you give me a frost free date for Jamison, PA? I purchased you seed starter book which helpful. It lists a date for Philadelphia and for Allentown. I know we are colder than Philly. What date do you recommend I use?
Thanks!

Your local county extension (345-3283) should be able to give you a better idea of the frost date. Keep in mind though that this is just an average and can be earlier or later each year. The date in your own yard will also depend on the microclimate, so you can see quite a variation from the listed date. The date is a good guide, but it not an absolute.
