Tomato seeds germinate best in soil temperatures of 70-85F. A greenhouse heating cable or seed starting heat pad will assure optimal soil temperatures. Alternately, you could place your seedling trays or pots in a warm area, such as on top of your refrigerator. Expect seedlings to emerge 6-14 days after sowing.
