I'm fairly experienced growing plants from seed....Since lady's mantle is a perennial...is there any information on growth rates and whether it's a "two year" or more to bloom and to become 'garden ready'....also Verbascum...same question. Thanx

In my garden, the lady's mantle self sows and these plants bloom the second year. I would expect transplants to do the same thing. Verbascum "Southern Charm" may bloom the first year if started early enough indoors, but typically the species blooms the second year, sets seed and grows as a biennial.
