The city has just put in a sidewalk in front of the house.
I would like to find a low to medium height, flowering evergreen that will stand full sun for an edge to this sidewalk. Thanks,

Some of the most attractive broadleaf evergreens suitable for a low to medium height hedge include Abelia grandiflora (glossy abelia) Berberis (barberry), Buxus (boxwood - no flowers, but attractive leaves), Escallonia, Thuja and Viburnum. Another consideration is Nandina (heavenly bamboo). The flowers are inconspicuous, but the foliage changes from green to red in the autumn and the shrubs produce red berries. Hope one of these suggestions is just what you're looking for!
