The south end of our vegetable garden gets part sun. We live in an area with a short growing season and have cool temperatures at night. What vegetable will grow well in these conditions? |
Veggies do best with at least 6-8 hours of full sunlight a day. These vegetables will tolerate less, but they still need some sunlight: beets, carrots, kale, lettuce, potatoes, scallions, radishes, rhubarb, spinach, Swiss chard. You might consider growing other vegetables in large containers that you can position in full sun. |
