The Q&A Archives: Plants For Lawn Coverage.

Question: What kind of plants should I use to cover our lawn on a slope which is in a sunny location.

Answer: Some groundcover plantings to consider for a full sun location on a slope would be low growing junipers or creeping phlox (Phlox subulata). You would of course first need to remove the lawn grass to enable the new plant to become established.
