I want colorful and abundant flowers in my windowboxes on the shady porch. What should I plant? I'm sick of just impatiens.

Here are some plants to consider: tuberous begonias and bedding begonias for flowers combined with brightly colored foliage plants such as coleus, hyppoestes (pink polka dot plant), and variegated English ivy. Caladiums offer a wonderful addition as well. Finally, the new African and Seashells series impatiens varieties offer a new look in flower shape plus colors in the yellow range, too.
