The Q&A Archives: Gourd Apple

Question: I would like to know what is a gourd apple and what do you do with one? Thank you.

Answer: An apple gourd is simply a gourd that grows in the shape of an apple. Most are 6"-8" in height and yellow in color. They have many decorative purposes, but even though they are members of the squash family, gourds are not edible.
