| You can start the peppers in those cans, but they would need to be transplanted into larger containers eventually to have room to reach maturity. At least a 5-gallon container (sometimes nurseries have left-over plastic containers), but 10 or 15 is better. Punch drainage holes in the cans. Note that the cans would also get hot in the sun. Use an all-purpose potting mix. |
