Do roses grown in containers need watering during the dormant stage? I bring mine into the garage in early winter. Upon recent inspection they seem to be fine.

Since the plants are dormant, they won't need water. As soon as buds begin to swell, water regularly and take the plants back outdoors to their usual spots in the garden.
