I am looking for white poppies. These look identical to
the orange California poppy (Eschscholtzia californica)
only they are WHITE.

I found Papaver somniferum 'White Cloud' in the Thompson & Morgan catalog. The flower is similar in appearance to the California poppy, but it is a true poppy. Unfortunately, seeds are not available in 2001. They do carry a mixture of pastel shades which includes white, called 'Garden Gnome Mxd'. Hope one of these is an acceptable substitute. Contact Thompson & Morgan at 800-274-7333, or write PO Box 1308, Jackson, NJ 08527 for a copy of their catalog.
