Received tulips in Fall and unable to plant them due to construction. Construction still going on. Can bulbs be saved for next Fall? How?

Your tulips will be healthier if you plant them now - in containers, if necessary, so they can go through the growing process this year. After flowering the foliage will die down naturally. Once this happens, you can dig and store the bulbs until fall, then plant them in their permanent homes. Holding them over is difficult; temperature and humidity must be carefully controlled.
