The Q&A Archives: Trying To Find Gooseberry Peas

Question: My uncle grows some delicious peas in Mississippi called Gooseberry Peas but we cannot find any information on them anywhere. He originally got his seeds from a former neighbor in another state. Have you ever heard of these?

Answer: Unfortunately, I am not familiar with that variety. However, the Seed Savers Exchange is currently listing over 600 varieties of peas and might possibly have something like them, especially if they were a local passalong variety.

I hope you find them.
