Color Change Every Year On My Peonies - Knowledgebase Question

I see peony bushes every where, but mine are the only ones that change from year to year, alternating pink then white. I have not seen any like these advertised anywhere and wonder what makes mine do this. I'm not complaining, they are always beautiful, but different from year to year.

Age and growing conditions may affect the color of peony blooms, and younger plants are more likely to surprise us. In my experience the changes are not quite so dramatic, but it sounds lovely!
