The Q&A Archives: Type Of Flowers

Question: i am getting married in july and i am looking for a yellow flower that will grow on a trellis.

Answer: While there are a few yellow flowered annual vines that would grow on a trellis, such as nasturtium or canary vine, in my experience it is quite risky to expect them to be in bloom on that particular (and special) day in July. It might be easier and more reliable to plan to use hanging baskets of flowers in the right shade of yellow or drape the trellis in a special fabric, or use some other decorator's trick. I'm sorry I can't be more encouraging.
