The secrets to the successful growing of Anthuriums include; Average household temperatures (minimum 60F degrees in the winter), bright light - but keep out of direct sunlight, keep the potting soil moist at all times, mist the leaves several times a day. These plants are native to tropical rainforests, so humidity is important (at least 50%), and warm temperatures are necessary. If the daytime temperature falls below 65F degrees, the plant will stop growing. Keep the pot on a tray of pebbles and add water when it begins to evaporate. Keep your Anthurium out of drafts. Under ideal conditions, your plant will bloom from four to six times a year, and each flower should last 4-6 weeks.
