I have had a problem with mildew on monarda plants in the past because I live in the woods where it is always damp. I purchased a package of Burpee's "Wildflower for Cutting" (mixed colors and kinds) last fall. The UPC number is 41530 44750. Since then, I read an article that suggested that the best Monarda to plant, because it is mildrew resistent, is Jacob Kline, Marshall's Delight, Petite Delight, or Petite Wonder. The article advised against planting any other kind.

My question is, what kind of Monarda is in this wildflower seed assortment that I purchased last year? The package doesn't say. I don't want to plant it if it is going to get mildewed again. Is one of the above varieties in the assortment? The mildew also spread to other plants. I don't want this problem again.

The above named monarda varieties are vegetatively propagated rather than grown by seed, so they could not be included in a seed mixture.
