My new home sports a perennial that becomes 8 feet tall with double gold/orange flowers. Leaves are slim and long. Most neighbors have this same plant in their gardens but no one knows what it could be. Any idea? Thanks |
There are several types of native and perennial helianthus that could meet that description as well as of Rudbeckia such as R. nitida 'Goldquelle'; often a nice specimen of such a striking and vigorous plant is adopted and then shared by gardeners so it is not surprising to see a good plant repeated in a neighborhood. |
