I was about to start some perennial aster seeds indoors. They say "often blooms the first year" Do you think they will bloom or are there any tricks to force them to bloom the first year? I would love to see the flowers this summer. Thank You! |
The plants need to reach a certain maturity and build strength before they are capable of blooming. To encourage blooming, start them very early indoors under lights, then care for them well in the garden by providing ample water and good soil. If the season cooperates and weather is favorable, you may see blooms late in the season. |
