I want to start a small vegtable garden from seeds in my home. The problem is that my 2 cats love to munch on plants. Are there any vegtable plants that are dangerous for cats? Do you have any suggestions for keeping my furry friends away from them?

There are many plants that could be dangerous to cats, for instance tomato vines are toxic and they may also decide they would like to scratch in the soil or bask under or on top of the warm lights. The little seedlings are very susceptible to damage as well. So, it is a good idea to prevent them from accessing the plants at all. This may mean keeping the plants in a separate room or enclosing the plants in some sort of a cage.
