| I have numerous opened and unused and unopened and unused vegetable seed packets from last season. Can I use them again for this season or do they expire with time? |
| Germination rates will decrease over time, but most seeds will be viable the second year as long as they were stored dry and at a fairly even temperature. Corn, lettuce and onion seed should be replaced, however. You might plant a little heavier to compensate for it being older seed. |
