I have numerous opened and unused and unopened and unused vegetable seed packets from last season. Can I use them again for this season or do they expire with time?

Germination rates will decrease over time, but most seeds will be viable the second year as long as they were stored dry and at a fairly even temperature. Corn, lettuce and onion seed should be replaced, however. You might plant a little heavier to compensate for it being older seed.
