Marjoram (Origanum marjoram) seeds need a warm temperature of about 70 degrees to germinate, which means the room temperature should be about 75 or you could use some gently bottom heat. The usual seed starting procedures would also apply: sow in barely damp soilless mix, water lightly to settle the soil, cover the pot with clear plastic (to maintain humidity) and set in the warm location out of direct sun, watch for germination. Open the plastic as soon as the seeds sprout, place in bright light. I hope this helps.
