Chamaecyparis, also called false cypress, are pyramidal in shape and can grow to 60' under the right conditions. They are susceptible to root rot in heavy soils; make sure the soil drains well to avoid problems. Provide full sunshine and water regularly during the growing season. To keep your Boulevard Cypress looking its best, regularly hose off any dead leaves in the center of the plant. Other than the above, your tree should not require any special care.
