| Some gardeners have had success using repellent sprays developed for this purpose and available through garden centers; the sprays must be applied and reapplied according to the label instructions. There are also home made concoctions using garlic as a base. Dogs mark their territory and are creatures of habit, so solving this problem can be difficult. If the dog is running loose you could speak to its owner or call animal control. If the dog belongs to you, you could contain it with fencing or by training. |
