Last fall I got some hyacinth bulbs and never planted them. Is there any way I can store them safely for planting next fall?

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to store bulbs that long successfully at home. At this point, since the alternative is to throw them away, you might want to plant them in pots and chill them, then plant them in the garden. Do not bother to plant any that have become soft, mushy, or moldy however.
