In your newsletter you talk about self-sowing annuals. What are they - types. I have a mostly shady area, early morning and early evening sun only.

Self sowing annuals for shade might include forget me nots, violas (some may perennialize), and honesty (lunaria) although it is technically a biennial. You might also consider some perennials for such an area such as hostas, ferns, pulmonaria, Solomon's Seal and tiarella.
