| Seed stratification is simple - just mix the seeds with moist peat in a plastic bag, and refrigerate them for two to three months. If you re starting your grove with the hopes of producing fruit for market, you re better off purchasing nursery stock, since persimmons grown from seed yield mixed results, and six years (til they bear) is a long time to wait for those results!
