| Probably the surest way to avoid altered seeds is to purchase only heirloom varieties. The Burpee Catalog lists a number of heirloom and "old-fashioned" varieties of many commonly grown veggies. (An example of an heirloom tomato is Brandywine.) Visit the Burpee website and request a catalog if you don't already have one. http://www.burpee.com |
