Starting Seeds - Knowledgebase Question

Is it too late to start seeds (vegetables & flowers) for spring planting. I am in southcentral Kentucky, Zone 6.

Many seeds are started indoors about eight weeks before the last expected frost date. The suggested timing varies (shorter and longer) depending on what plant you are trying to grow. Many plants can also be seeded directly in the garden with good success. The seed packets will indicate the preferred timing for each particular plant.
