| Every year I am successful getting morning glories and moonflowers started from seed. But when I transplant them in the garden in full sun, they just sit there and don't grow. I have no problems with zinnias, cosmos, and many other annuals grown from seed. It has me completely baffled! Could it be the soil? |
| The vines like full sun and conditions similar to the other plants you named, so it is a bit baffling. It may be a case of transplant shock, however. These plants grow best when seed is sown directly into the garden. In my experience, the direct seeded morning glories usually catch up and surpass transplants anyway. Good luck this year! |
