I'm surprised that you do not offer Gomphrena. Wayside does not
have it either. Burpee has it, but only in mixed
colors (I want red only). My Question:

Other than a general search engine like Google,
is there a special garden-search engine or web site that can be used to locate
hard-to-find seeds and plants?

Thanks.

"Strawberry Fields" the only truly red variety of gomphrena and it is available through Pinetree Garden Seeds, PO Box 300, New Gloucester, ME 04260 or http://www.superseeds.com/ among others.

In my experience, a search on an engine such as google (using the Latin name) is highly effective in most instances IF the source has an online presence.
