How do i keep muskrats out of my garden?

You might be able to fence it out of selected areas to protect the plants; a naturalist or animal control expert might be able to suggest the optimum fence design but I would expect a small heavy mesh partly buried underground and splayed outward to deter digging (by muskrats or others) would work the best. Your county extension may also have some suggestions or be able to refer you to the appropriate wildlife agency if this is a common problem in your area. Their telephone number is 431-7260.
