I bought tulip bulbs last fall and forgot to plant them? Can I plant them now, in the spring, in a container garden, or do I have to wait until next fall?

It is very difficult to store tulip bulbs successfully over the summer especially since home storage conditions are usually less than ideal. Since the alternative would be to throw them away, you might try planting them in containers and chilling them for several months or until you are able to plant them outside. You may plant them several layers deep in one container.
