The Q&A Archives: Feeding Hoyas

Question: What is the best way to feed a hoya and with what? It has not grown in a year. It has only just gotten potbound, so I don't wwant to transplaant it. It has never bloomed and it it about 10 yrs old.

Answer: Try Miracle-Gro at 15-30-15. The extra phosphorus may help your hoya bloom, and the nitrogen will promote foliage growth. Follow package instructions for application rates. Hoya like rich, loose, well-drained soil that is consistently moist, and indoors they like a sunny window.
