I always buy flowers that are already grown. I would like to plant the seeds to grow my own, is it too late to do that for this year. |
The answer to your question depends on what you want to grow. Many annuals would be started about 8 weeks before the last expected frost, but some of the most popular such as pansies and geraniums would need to have been started much earlier than that. The seed packets will usually give you a rough estimate of when to plant. Your county extension, a local garden center, or a neighborhood gardener should be able to tell you the average frost date for your local area if you don't already know it. |
