Unfortunately, Ixora is a rather large tropical shrub and would not be winter hardy in your area. (It is grown in zones 10 and 11.) In their native range these shrubs grow and bloom almost year round and are even used for hedges. If you have a very bright location or a greenhouse you might be able to grow one indoors in a large container or tub, but it would be difficult to keep it in enough light so it would bloom.
