I have two wisteria growing on a fence in my yard, and each year only one of them blooms. What can I do to get the other one to bloom? |
Since one is blooming and the other is not, I would assume there is nothing you need to change in their care. Unfortunately, getting wisteria to bloom can be a matter of time -- as in years of waiting, especially with seed grown rather than grafted plants. For some reason, certain plants are just shy about blooming; they typically take about 8 years to kick in, although 20 is not unheard of. i wish I could be more encouraging. Maybe this will be the year it starts! |
