My daisys need to be divided. I'm not sure when I'm supposed to do this. The ground has defrosted, but there is still a chance of frost. I'd appreciate any help you can give.

Shasta daisies can be divided in early spring starting as soon as the ground is workable and onward until the plants have really begun to grow in earnest. The dividing can slow them down a bit while they take time to readjust and become established, so you don't want to do it too close to flowering time. Since they are outdoors already, the cold weather should not be a problem.
