Our fruit trees (orange) are flowering now. I am late to fertilize I think. Can I fertilize with miracle gro fruit tree spikes now or should I wait for a month after the flowers are gone?

Citrus should be fertilized three times per year in the low desert, with 1/3 of the total annual nitrogen requirement each feeding. Fertilize in Jan-Feb, April-May, and Aug-Sept. Since April is upon us, you can fertilize now, and then again in August.
