Where can I find a list of bulbs that easily multiply? |
Most spring blooming bulbs with the possible exception of most tulips and the large hyacinths will certainly multiply well if planted in a suitable location. The minor bulbs such as crocus, scilla, snowdrops, grape hyacinths and so on are considered quite reliable for naturalizing as are the species tulips. For more information about the many types of flowering bulbs that are available and how to grow them you might look at a book or two. One I particularly like is "Flowering Bulbs for Dummies" by Judy Glattstein, ISBN 0-7645-5103-5. In it you will find descriptions and cultural information about almost every aspect of bulb gardening/growing both indoors and out. |
