| At the end of the season (fall) shold I have cut my Foxglove to the ground or just leave the leaf on the plant. I have noticed the leaves stayed green and did not die off, also should I cut the leaves now that its spring. |
| The rule of thumb with any perennial is to remove any part of the plant that is killed back by frost. This would include the stem and foliage and old flowers. Foxgloves and some other perennials retain a green rosette or crown of foliage all winter. Leave this in place. Later this spring after the new growht has started, you might need to tidy up the old foliage a little bit, but leave the healthy parts of it alone. |
