I LIVE IN LANC COUNTY PA. WHEN CAN I PLANT SPINICH? DOES IT TOLERATE COLL WEATHER?

Spinach can be planted about a month before the last expected frost. It does like cool weather and will bolt or go to seed when the weather warms up, so we try to plant it early. If you do not know your frost date, check with a local nursery or your County Extension (394-6851).
