| After blooming, hyacinths will grow their foliage for a while and then it will naturally fade and turn brown as the bulb goes dormant for the summer. This process rebuilds the bulb so it can bloom again. The foliage should be left in place until it has browned. Also, the little grape hyacinths have somewhat floppy foliage whenever it is present. It is difficult to get forced bulbs to rebloom in a pot, so you might want to plant it outside where it may settle in and rebloom in a year or two. |
