Blossom end rot can be a challenging problem. Mulch your plants well to help keep the soil constantly moist and spray the plants with seaweed to provide a quick dose of nutrients. Pick off the affected fruits right away so the plant can devote its energyto forming new blossoms. If you can set out your tomato plants earlier, you might be able to harvest more tomatoes before the prime season for blossom end rot, which is usually midsummer.
