If you're interested in pursuing this as a business, contact your extension service for information on starting up. They can help you with a business plan, budgeting and projections, so you can determine if 100 mums is too many or too few to make your effort profitable. Here's a book written just for folks like you - "The Growing And Marketing of Fall Mums" by Don Langevin (Annedawn Publishing, Norton, MA; ISBN# 0-09632793-3-5). Good luck to you!
